1 Simple Habit To 10x Your Results

It is a widely accepted truth that we are the sum of our habits. It is also true that where we are in life is a direct reflection of our past and current thoughts. As human beings we act in accordance with those beliefs whether they are positive or negative thoughts. The universe does not judge but rather creates the conditions and circumstances that reflect our most dominate thinking processes.

If all this is true…and it is, then it is also true to get something different then it requires us to think and act differently. Now that we have complete agreement on these basic fundamental facts, I want to share how we can all grow and evolve our minds and therefore our lives so we can create the life we deserve.


If you’re someone who doesn’t buy into the notion of, constant and never-ending personal improvement, then you can stop reading right here. Because the following message is for those people who recognize that life’s journey is all about evolving, growing and self-discovery.

My Own Journey

My journey of self-discovery began when I was 30 yrs. Old. It took me that long to finally figure out that if I didn’t make significant changes in my life, I was going to lose everything that I valued. My marriage, kids, business and my life! I’m not over dramatizing folks.

Once I made the commitment to change my mindset and habits there was one thing I did that got me focused and on the right course. That one thing was and still is, scheduling time to work on me. How many of you, be honest, literally block time out in your schedule each day to work on you? I’m not talking about your fitness. We all know the value of eating right and exercise but how many of you realize scheduling time to work on your mindset is just as important?

I want you to consider adopting a new habit. It is called, Your Morning Routine.

William P. H. the Earl of Chatham once said, “If you do not rise early you can’t make progress in nothing.” His point from hundreds of years ago, which is still applicable, is not just about getting up early but also most successful people utilize a morning routine.

Recent research has identified the habit of a morning routine is the keystone habit. The keystone is a wedged shaped stone at the apex of a vault. It is known as the final piece that locks all the other stones in place.

The habit of the morning routine is your keystone, that final piece that will set your life on a new course and direction you have never experienced before. It is also known as the antidote to average. As most of you may know, to get a TriplePLife you must resist the seduction of mediocrity. No successful person ever said, “My goal is to be average.”

What to Expect

Here is what you can expect when you begin to implement a morning routine. You will begin to feel more centered and stronger. You also will find yourself dramatically more focused and productive, while helping you unleash your inner genius. This new habit will also insulate and protect you from distractions. Essentially, you will have the mental and physical tools and skill-sets to win the day. EVERY DAY!

Neuroscientists also refer to this as the, “Peak Mental State”. It’s where our perceptions are heightened and our ability to tap into our original ideas are the greatest. This is how we transcend our lives form ordinary to extraordinary.

I want to touch on briefly the behaviors you should be including in your morning routine. We have discussed each of these in depth on a recent episode of the PowerPassionProsperity Podcast.   1. Get to bed early enough the night before so you can get adequate rest.
  2. Wake up before the sun rises
  3. Immediately upon waking rehydrate your body and mind.
  4. Do some gentle active stretching.
  5. Find a place in your home that is your happy place.
  6. Set Your intentions for the day
  7. Focus on your breathing
  8. Quiet your mind
  9. Focus and visualize your day and or goals
  10. Review your goals
  11. Read something empowering
  12. Go Win the Day!


As you reflect upon the process I briefly identified above prepare to spend a minimum of 20 minutes to an hour on your morning routine. I know what your thinking, I don’t have an hour to dedicate in the morning. You do if you commit to getting up earlier. If you’re not willing to commit an hour a day to your own well-being and success then what are you willing to commit to, 15, 20, 30 minutes?

It takes roughly 6 weeks to form a new habit. It is my experience no matter how much time you commit, the more you practice your morning routine, the more you see the results. I promise you will then make additional time. Because what you will experience will be so incredible you will never want to miss a day.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly once people learn, adopt and regularly practice a morning routine they begin to experience 10x results in their lives. If you put your focus and intention on your health, business, family, relationships, finances or whatever you want to improve, your probability of achieving that goal increases 10-fold.

This is the secret high performers know and use to their advantage, so why not you? Remember, you were designed for greatness. You deserve to have it all and now you know how to make it all happen.
